ORDER

Heard Ms.Vanathi Srinivasan, learned counsel for the petitioner ; learned Mr.M.Karthikeyan, learned counsel accepting notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and with their consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The prayer sought for by the petitioner is to direct the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 17.12.2015 and 18.01.2016 pertaining to the allotment of G-88 Godown in Periyar Vegetable Market, Koyambedu Wholesale Market Complex, Koyambedu, Chennai.

Learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the 1st respondent will consider the said representations on merits and in accordance with law and he may be granted reasonable time to do so.

In the light of the said submission, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in his representations, there will be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representations dated 17.12.2015 and 18.01.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
