No.10 of 2002 dated 17.06.2002 respectively and as confirmed in Appeal by the third respondent and communicated in letter Nos.6086, 6093, 6087, 6090, 6088, 6089&6096/G/04-1 respectively dated 15.04.2004 and quash the same and direct the third respondent to hear the Appeal on merits, after giving opportunity to the petitioners to put forth their cases.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Balachandar, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the prayer in the writ petitions have become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement in the petition to that effect.
