Prayer:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioners in respect of S.No.392/9, Thiruvannamalai District, Chetpet Taluk, Periya Kozhapalur Village admeasuring 0.78 cents out of the total extent of 2.34 acres as sought vide representation dated 29.08.2017 and 30.08.2017 in accordance with law.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for direction directing the second respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioners in respect of S.No.392/9, Thiruvannamalai District, Chetpet Taluk, Periya Kozhapalur Village admeasuring 0.78 cents out of the total extent of 2.34 acres as sought vide representation dated 29.08.2017 and 30.08.2017 in accordance with law.

2. Heard, M/s.V.Pushpalatha, the learned counsel for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioners, and Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representations of the petitioners dated 29.08.2017 and 30.08.2017 and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any, and giving them opportunity of hearing, pass orders to issue patta in the name of the petitioners in respect of S.No.392/9, Thiruvannamalai District, Chetpet Taluk, Periya Kozhapalur Village admeasuring 0.78 cents out of the total extent of 2.34 acres, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
