O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner and her property by considering the complaint dated 31.10.2022.
2.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent. 3.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the subject property and on which, she has also got decree in S.A.No.1038 of 2019. The grievance of the petitioner in pursuance of the said decree is that she was about to fence her land but that was prevented by the opposite party and hence, she has filed this petition seeking police protection.
4.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation given by the petitioner for police protection has been considered and closed since both the parties 2/4
claim title over the same property and the matter appears to be civil in nature.
5.
If the petitioner claims title and possession over the property, it is up to her to take appropriate execution proceedings on the strength of the decree obtained by her. In view of the same, the respondent police is required to give the closure report to the petitioner and the petitioner can seek appropriate remedy before the Civil Court, if she is so advised.
6.
With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
