ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the payments relating to Gratuity, Communication, Leave

Encashment and EL Surrender by calculating D.A eligible as per newly implemented with interest at 12% per annum with effect from 01.06.2015 within the stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had given a representation dated 02.01.2016 in this regard.

3. Mr.P. Paramasivadoss, learned counsel, taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the first respondent may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.01.2016 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2016 is considered by the first respondent in accordance with law.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent concerned to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2016 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
