1982 vide detention order dated 11.08.2023 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings No.199/BCDFGISSSV/2023 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the said petitioner's son namely Saravanan, aged 30 years, son of Senthilkumar, before this Hon'ble High Court and set him at liberty, now petitioner's son detained at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai - 600 066. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR,J.) The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, stated that the impugned order of detention passed against the detenu herein has been revoked. He also produced a copy of the G.O.Rt.No.5298, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department dated 22.09.2023 before this Court.
2. In view of the above, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed as infructuous.
