Prayer:Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to alter the date of birth of the petitioner as 16.12.1968 instead of 1.6.1968 in all his educational certificates and as well as passport on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 17.12.2015 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R
The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to alter the date of birth of the petitioner as 16.12.1968 instead of 01.06.1998 in all his educational certificate as well as in passport by considering his representation dated 17.12.2015.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the respondents. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the said representation was made, the concerned respondents have not considered the same so far, especially when the petitioner is having sufficient documentary evidence in support of his claim.
4.This Court, at this stage, is not inclined to express any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the said representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, provided the petitioner is having sufficient materials in support of such claim. Thus, the respondents 1 and 2 shall pass such order after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
