ORDER
(1)Ms.K.Aswinidevi, learned Standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of both the learned counsels, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. (2)The writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to carry out necessary corrections in the Death Certificate dated 28.12.2022, of the petitioner's husband late Mr.T.Gopinath, based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2024.
(3)The petitioner is the wife of the deceased T.Gopinath. The petitioner states that she got married on 19.01.1992, and out of the wedlock, a son was born on 03.02.1999. The petitioner states that due to certain differences and disputes, the petitioner and her husband were living separately since 2006 and her son stayed with her husband. The petitioner states that while so, the said T.Gopinath, died on 24.12.2022 and the 1 st respondent issued a Death Certificate, in which the age of the deceased, name of the mother and the wife's name were wrongly mentioned. The petitioner therefore submitted a representation on 06.08.2024, to the 1 st respondent for rectifying the above mistakes. Since no action was taken on the petitioner's representation, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.
(4)The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though a larger relief is prayed in the writ petition, it would suffice if a direction is issued to the 3 rd respondent, to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2024, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

(6)Under the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner, a direction is issued to the 3 rd respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2024 on merits and in accordance with law by affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
