ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2016 to take necessary steps to select the petitioner to the post of Driver in the 2nd respondent Corporation.

Mr.Syed Mustafa, learned Government Pleader (Pondicherry), taking notice of the respondents, submitted that the respondents may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2016 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
