Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on merits by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 20.03.2023 within a stipulated time as this Court fixes and pass such further or other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to consider his representation dated 20.03.2023 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as respondents 1 & 2, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, the property situated in S.Nos.67/1, 67/2, 67/3,67/4,67/5, and 67/6, 67/11, 67/12, 67/14, 67/15, 67/16 and 67/19, Kuttagam Village, Avinashi Taluk, Tiruppur District originally belongs to the petitioner's father Ramasamy. He was issued with a separate patta in the above mentioned land in patta No.844. Subsequently, the names of respondents 3 to 7 were included in the patta. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 20.03.2023 before the first respondent seeking deletion of names of private respondents 3 to 7 from the patta and the same has not 2/4

been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.03.2023 and pass final orders, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as respondents 3 to 7 and any other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
