ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.172 of 2023, pending on the file of the 1st respondent.

2.Heard Mr.S.Sudhanthiran, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the 1st respondent. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions submitted that the investigation has been completed and that the final report will be filed within a period of four weeks before the concerned jurisdictional Court. 4.In view of the above development, the relief as sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted by this Court.

5.There shall be a direction to the respondent police to file the final report before the concerned jurisdictional Court within a period of four weeks. If the final report is acted upon and the concerned Court takes cognizance and the summons are issued to the petitioners, if the petitioners are aggrieved by the same, it is left to the petitioners to workout their remedy in the manner known to law. 6.This criminal original petition is disposed of in the above terms. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
