Petition to quash the criminal case pending before the I Additional Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under NDPS Act, Chennai in C.C.No.282 of 2022 .

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, the alleged contraband was not recovered from this petitioner. Therefore, the case has to be quashed as against this petitioner.

3. In reply, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that, respondent police received secret information that petitioner along with others were selling ganja near Periyarpathai Bus Stand. Therefore, the raiding team apprehended the petitioner and A1. A3 absconded.

4. In the light of the above facts, since there are enough materials to proceed against this petitioner, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed. 2/4
