This petition has been filed to modify the condition as that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties, instead petitioner shall executing a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty five thousand only) with two sureties, in the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.24841 of 2022, dated 02.11.2022 on the file of this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a resident of West Bengal. He would also submit that this Court while granting bail to the petitioner has directed him to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with two blood related sureties, in which, one surety should be a local surety and one surety should be a blood surety, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge for EC/NDPS Act Cases, Coimbatore. further submit that the local surety has got properties and he is ready to furnish documents, whereas, the blood relative does not own any property and thereby, he is unable to deposit any title deeds. Hence, he seeks for modification of the above condition.

3.Considering the above submissions, the condition imposed as against the petitioner is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge for EC/NDPS Act Cases, Coimbatore.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and the other conditions imposed against the petitioner shall remain unaltered. 01.12.2022 sp Page No.2/3
