ORDER
The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pass orders on their representations dated 15.10.2015 by sanctioning a sum of Rs.750/- as personal pay to the petitioners notionally with effect from 01.01.2006 and monetary benefits with effect from 01.01.2011 on par with that of the petitioners' juniors.
2. It is the case of the petitioners that inspite of the representations dated 15.10.2015, the respondents have not passed orders so far.
3. Mr. R.Vijayakumar, the learned Additional Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondents submitted that the respondents may be directed to dispose of the representations in accordance with law within the stipulated time.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents to consider the petitioners' representations dated 15.10.2015 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
