Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent herein to make appropriate enquiries with regard to the illegal non-selection of the petitioner for appointment as 'Cook' in Adi-Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department Schools and Hostels in Salem District, conducted in pursuance of Na.Ka.No.36263/2011/T4 dated 20.10.2015 by the second respondent and to pass appropriate orders for selection and appointment of the petitioner to the said post and to grant all consequential benefits.

O R D E R

The writ petitioner claims that she participated in the process of selection for appointment to the post of 'Cook' in Adi-Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department. Interview call letter sent to the writ petitioner on 20th October 2015 is also enclosed in page 5 of the typed set of papers filed along with this writ petition.

2.Learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner states that there is a serious irregularity in the process of selection and the writ petitioner is unable to even get the appointment https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

order of the persons appointed, pursuant to the interview held on 29.10.2015. Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 4th December, 2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. However, no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
