These petitions have been filed to condone the delay of 529 days in filing the respective appeals against the orders, both dated 07.11.2023 made in M.C.O.P.Nos.140 & 145 of 2022 respectively, by the learned Special Subordinate Judge, Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Krishnagiri.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.B.Murugavel, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent-insurance company.

3. Though notice has been served and the name of the 1st respondent is printed in the cause list, there is no representation on behalf of the 1st respondent.

4. The reasons adduced in the affidavits filed in support of these petitions being satisfactory, these petitions stand ordered and consequently, the delay of 529 days in filing the respective appeals is condoned, subject to the condition that the petitioners will not be entitled to any interest for the delay period i.e., for 529 days, in the appeal.
