Respondents in both cases Prayer: Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioners' Mercy Petition dated 29.09.2015 requesting to grant employment at any of the office under his control within a stipulated time.

For Petitioners : Ms.T.A.Ananthi in both cases For Respondents : Mr.C.Kasirajan in both cases COMMON ORDER The writ petitions have been filed by the petitioners seeking direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioners' Mercy Petitions dated 29.09.2015 requesting to grant employment at any of the office under his control within a stipulated time.

2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that since the orders were passed removing the petitioners from service, they made an appeal to the second respondent and the same were rejected by order dated 30.06.2015 confirming their appeal. Hence, the petitioners filed mercy petitions dated 29.09.2015 requesting to grant employment. Since the same are pending for a long time, learned counsel for the petitioners sought for disposal of the petitions.

3.Heard Ms.T.A.Ananthi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.C.Kasirajan, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

4.In the light of the limited relief sought for in the writ petitions, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioners' mercy petition dated 29.09.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
