The writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking direction to the first respondent to pass orders on the appeal of the petitioners dated 04.10.2012 and the subsequent reminders dated 11.01.2016 within a stipulated period.

2.The petitioners, aggrieved by the order dated 14.06.2012 passed by the second respondent, have preferred the appeal before the first respondent on 04.10.2012 and thereafter they sent reminder dated 11.01.2016. Finding no response whatsoever, pending appeal, they have come to this Court. 3.Heard Mr.S.M.Subramaniam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.K.Rajendra Prasad, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4.In the light of the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioners' appeal dated 04.10.2012 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
