ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in
Crime No.30 of 2014 before the learned VII Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, within the time frame fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.30 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police against the accused for the offences under Sections 406, 420 & 506(i) of I.P.C.; so far, the investigation has not been completed and final report was not filed.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that enquiry will be completed and final report will be filed within a period of one month.
5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy
of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
