O R D E R

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.07.2025, for the offence punishable under Section 103 of BNS, in Crime No.341 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2. The Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner was arrested on 08.07.2025 merely on suspicion.

3. According to the defacto complainant, the body of the deceased was found with several violent injuries inside the house and there is no eye witness to the occurrence. Only based on the confession statement, the petitioner is now been detained.

4. The Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent has filed a detailed counter and status report, along with CD report which indicates that this petitioner was seen near house of the deceased by a public witness. Based on the information given by him, the call details of the petitioner been collected and the petitioner was traced at Karamadai and his 2/4

confession also discloses his involvement in the crime.

5. Since the investigation is at preliminary stage, this Court is of the view that granting bail to this petitioner at this stage will tamper evidence.
