ORDER

Mr.G.Kanagasabai, who served as Secretary till 30.11.2013 in the third respondent society, had retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation and the third respondent had also paid the employees provident fund, earned leave salary and other benefits, except the gratuity, to him. Therefore, he made a representation dated 14.10.2015 for payment of the gratuity. As no response has come from the respondents, he has approached this Court.

2. Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2.

3. This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going to the merits of the matter, hereby directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.10.2015 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
