The petition for bail is in connection with Crime No.314 of 2025 dated 19.06.2025 for offence punishable under Section 308(5) of BNS, 2023. 1/4

The defacto complainant alleged that the petitioner herein contacted her over phone, introducing himself as a friend of one Inba and came to her house along with two others on 18.06.2025. After a brief conversation, they threatened her and her husband and took away her car and cell phones. 3.

Based on the complaint, the police arrested the petitioner and two others. The vehicle and cell phones were recovered. While the other two accused, who were arrested on 20.06.2025, were granted bail on 01.08.2025, recording that the 1st accused had one previous case and other accused had no previous case. Whereas, the case of the petitioner is not similar to that of the other two accused. Eleven cases are pending against this petitioner and furthermore, it was the petitioner who contacted the victim and taking help of the other two accused, committed the crime. The other two accused were enlarged on bail only on 01.08.2025. The petitioner was arrested and the investigation is yet to be completed.

Considering the facts, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 13.08.2025 rpl 2/4
