Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the common representation of the petitioners dated 06.02.2016 for grant of special time scale of pay of Rs.1300-3000 + Grade Pay Rs.300 in the light of G.O.Ms.No.385, Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 01.10.2010 within a stipulated period.

ORDER

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the common representation of the petitioners dated 06.02.2016 for grant of special time scale of pay of Rs.1300-3000 + Grade Pay Rs.300 in the light of G.O.Ms.No.385, Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 01.10.2010 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

within a stipulated period.

2. Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going to the merits of the matter, hereby directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 6.2.2016 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
