ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent herein to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 21.01.2016 seeking survey of his Kalam Poramboke property comprised in Survey No.152 at No.68, Koodalur Village, Madurantakam Taluk, Kancheepuram District, ad-measuring to an extent of 3 cents.

It is averred by the petitioner in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition that he is the absolute owner of the property situated at No.68, Koodalur Village, Madurantakam Taluk, Kancheepuram District, bearing Survey No.121, Grama Natham land, ad-measuring an extent of 4 cents; his wife Nagalakshmi has property in the very same survey number, admeasuring an extent of 2 cents and another piece of property is a land situated in the very same village, which is Kalam Poramboke, comprised in S.Nos.152 and 117, ad-measuring an extent of 3 cents, which is under the petitioner's legal possession for years together. The petitioner wants to fence his property including the above said Kalam Poramboke property. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Hence, the petitioner made a representation, dated 21.01.2016 to the respondent and other officials of the Revenue Department of his area. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for the above relief.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondent.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer made in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioner, dated 21.01.2016 and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and necessary parties, dispose of the said representation, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
