This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction directing the respondent police not to interfere in the peaceful possession of the petitioner's above mentioned property and thereby direct the respondent to remove the police personnel from the property.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is an accused and he is facing trial in C.C. No.40 of 2018 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.1, Puducherry. Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is nothing but clear abuse of process of law. Therefore, this petition is devoid of merits. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
