The petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.31803 of 2024 filed a petition seeking completion of the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2024.

2. By an order dated 19.12.2024, this Court disposed of the petition, directing the respondent to file a final report within a period of three months.

3. Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl. Side) filed a petition seeking extension of time. He further submitted that the investigation has been completed, the charge sheet has been prepared, and sanction has also been obtained against the petitioner, who is a public servant. The charge sheet has now been filed before the concerned Court, and he seeks one month's time to formally present the same before the Court.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed, and one month's time is granted to the respondent to complete the process and file the final report in compliance with the order of this Court dated 19.12.2024 in Crl.O.P.No.31803 of 2024.
