Heard Mr. M.Manikandan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.Balathandayutham, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents, who takes notice for the Respondents, and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.
The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the First to Fourth Respondents to appoint an Expert Committee to select the eligible beneficiaries for the Periyar Memorial Samathuvapurams situated at Kozhuvari Village, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District as per the guidelines issued in G.O. Ms. No. 44, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (SGS.1) Department dated 28.03.2022 and include the name of the Petitioner in the selection list as per his eligibility based on his representation dated 18.04.2022. 3.
It has been brought to notice that in respect of allotment of houses under the Periyar Memorial Samthuvapuram, the Fourth Respondent has examined the entire matter on the various grievance expressed by certain persons (including the Petitioner) and by Letter No. Aa10/641/2010 dated 24.09.2022 submitted his report in that regard to the Principal Secretary to Government, Rural 3/6
Development and Panchayat Raj Department and its copy has been produced. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner also acknowledges its receipt. In view of the same, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition reserving the rights of the Petitioner, if he has any grievance, to work out his remedies before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid clarifications. No costs.
