Prayer:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the Second Respondent from proceeding with the disciplinary proceedings in PR No. A4/20/2017 dated 24.08.2017 under Rule 3(b) against the Petitioner till the conclusion of the criminal case in Cr. Nos. 380 of 2015 and 583 of 2016 on the file of the Madhukarai P.S, Coimbatore on account of similar charges and allegations made in both proceedings. For Petitioner :

Heard Mr. S.Sheik Tanveer Ahmed, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.Balathandayutham, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

2.The Writ Petition has been filed to forbear the Second Respondent from proceeding with the disciplinary proceedings in PR No. A4/20/2017 dated 24.08.2017 under Rule 3(b) of the Tamil Nadu Police Sub-ordinate Service (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1955, against the Petitioner till the conclusion of the criminal https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

case in Crime Nos. 380 of 2015 and 583 of 2016 on the file of the Madhukarai Police Station, Coimbatore.

3.Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner has been reinstated into service and the relief sought in the Writ Petition does not remain for consideration, and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record.

In fine, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
