ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents on the petitioners representations dated 12.03.2022, 07.05.2022, 08.06.2022, 30.08.2022 and consequently direct the respondents to issue patta in respect of petitioner's land bearing plot Nos.766 and 773 comprised in S.No.92/1 and 92/2 in Paiyanur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner. 3.Mr.V.Veluchamy, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice for the respondents submitted that the respondents may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the 2/4

petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and conduct enquiry and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the necessary parties viz, adjacent land owners and rival claims if any and dispose of the representation within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 16.10.2023 ksa-2 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No 3/4
