O R D E R

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.17 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent police.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that a compromise has been arrived at between the parties and that a part of the amount has already been paid.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed, the final report has been filed and the same has been taken cognizance of on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Myladuthurai, in C.C.No.97 of 2024.

At this juncture, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought the indulgence of this Court to grant liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report filed by the first respondent in connection with Crime No.17 of 2022 2/4

In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report, if so advised.
