These Civil Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed to extend the time for complying the conditional order passed by this Court in C.M.P.Nos.12042 and 12084 of 2024 in C.M.P.Nos.2394 and 2447 of 2024 in A.S.Nos.68 and 69 of 2024.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 03.07.2024, this Court found some justification in the prayer made by the petitioner and directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.9,00,000/- to the credit of O.S.No.2402 of 2013 on the file of the III Additional City Civil Court, Chennai, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order and the remaining amount of Rs.8,00,000/- shall be deposited in two installments of Rs.4,00,000/- each within a period of 12 weeks and 20 weeks respectively from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would state that the petitioner has already deposited a sum of Rs.13,00,000/- (Rs.9,00,000 + Rs.4,00,000/-) and would pray some more time for depositing the remaining amount of Rs.4,00,000/-. 1 of Page 2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

4. Considering the age of the petitioner and also taking into account that the petitioner has already deposited a sum of Rs.13,00,000/- as directed by this Court and only a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- has to be deposited, we are of the view that some time shall be granted to the petitioner to comply with the conditional order passed by this Court on 03.07.2024. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- to the credit of O.S.No.2402 of 2013 on the file of the III Additional City Civil Court, Chennai, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, these these Civil Miscellaneous Petitions are ordered.
