The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.13 of 2023 registered by the respondent Police for the offence under Section 4(1)(g) of TNP Act.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were found to be in illegal possession of 2200 litres of fermented wash.

3.It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has not committed the said offence. 4.However, it is contended by the learned Government Advocate that there are 13 previous cases pending against the petitioner herein. 5.It is also stated that the father of the petitioner has been detained under Act 14.

6.Taking into consideration the quantity of the illicit arrack, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
