The present writ petition has been to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent to consider the Petitioner bearing NEET UG Roll No.4101101458 as eligible under the NRI category for admission into the 1/4

MBBS Course during the academic year 2025-26 and permit her to participate in the counselling process.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Senior Panel Counsel appearing for the respondent, on instructions from the Additional Director General (ME), would submit that in view of the interim direction passed by this Court on 14.08.2025, they have accepted the petitioner's prayer that they will consider the petitioner's application under NRI Category in the Round-2 of the NEET UG 2025 Counselling and would further submit that if the documents be in order, it will be considered according to its own merits and in accordance with law.
