Respondent Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned request for proposal e-auction for licensing of Advertisement rights in Street Lamp Post in the Corporation of Chennai Area in one package to be held on 16.02.2016 and quash the same and consequently to direct the respondent to implement the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.7143 of 2006 dt.10.08.20016 which was reported in 2006 (4) MLJ 1033 and W.P.No.14965 of 2007 dt.28.04.2008.

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have grave doubts about entertaining a Public Interest Litigation on the subject which is really a tender matter and the petitioner is not a participant in the tender. Be that as it may, learned counsel for the Corporation states that the tender in question already stands cancelled.

2.In view of aforesaid, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions also stand dismissed.
