the third respondent and to pass appropriate orders thereof to accord approval to run classes from Standard LKG to VIII Standard in the Marthoma Matriculation School for the academic year 2024-2025 within a time limit that may be specified by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to consider the proposal bearing Na.Ka.No.596/A1/2025 dated 08.07.2025 of the third respondent and to pass appropriate orders thereof to accord approval to run classes from Standard LKG to VIII Standard in the Marthoma Matriculation School for the academic year 2024-2025 within a time limit that may be specified by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 2/4

petitioner has sent a representation to the first respondent to upgrade the school as a high school. It is the further submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner trust has got all infrastructure for such upgradation. In this regard, the petitioner has sent representation on 08.05.2025 based on the petitioner's representation, the third respondent has sent recommendation on 08.07.2025 and the same is pending before the first respondent.

4. At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that they will consider the recommendation of the third respondent within a reasonable time.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court it deems it appropriate to direct the first respondent to consider the third respondent's proposal dated 08.07.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four(4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
