ORDER

This application was filed under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 [hereinafter referred to as 'the Act'] for appoint of an Advocate Commissioner to repossess the vehicle. 2.The Advocate Commissioner was appointed by this Court by an order dated 19.8.2025. Thereafter, the Advocate Commissioner was not able to trace the vehicle and accordingly, a report was placed before this Court. 3.This Court directed the 2nd respondent to be present before the Court in order to ascertain as to whether any settlement can be arrived at between the parties. Accordingly, the 2nd respondent was present before this Court on 27.01.2026. Upon hearing both the sides, this Court suggested that the parties can arrive at a compromise and report the same before this Court. 4.When the matter came up for hearing today, it was brought to the notice of this Court that a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- was settled in favour of the applicant

and the same was received in full quits by the applicant and the loan amount has been discharged. The relevant document was also placed before this Court. This fact was also confirmed by the learned counsel appearing on either side. 5.This Court is also inclined to order additional remuneration of a sum of Rs.10,000/- to the Advocate Commissioner by the applicant. 6.Recording the above, this application is disposed of.
