O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.07.2025 and grant lease for fishing rights in Sarvai Biglake that comes under the jurisdiction of FMR-30, Sarvaiputhur Ulnattu Meenavar Cooperative Ltd., Salem District in pursuance of the order of this Court dated 21.06.2023 made in W.P.No.6819 of 2023 & etc., batch cases within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.S.Gopinath, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.E.Vijay Anand, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.D.Gopal, learned Government Advocate appearing for the fourth respondent. 2/4

3.The connected writ petition came up for hearing in W.P.No.25193 of 2025 and the same was disposed of by an order dated 11.07.2025 in the following terms:

"3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the grounds raised by the petitioner and also taking note of the earlier order passed by this Court in a batch of cases in W.P.No.6819/2023 etc. dated 21.06.2023, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner and take a decision and convey the same to the petitioner within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

4.The present writ petition can also be disposed of in terms of the above order and hence, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner and to take a decision and convey the same to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
