The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 04.09.2015 for the renewal of contract carriage permit in respect of vehicle No.PY 02 J 5592 permitted to ply on the route D R Pattinam Pattinacherry to Ammaiyar Nagar for the period from 07.10.2015 to 06.10.2020 forthwith. 2.Mr.A.S.Bharathi, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass orders in accordance with law.

3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 04.09.2015 and pass orders on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
