Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to delete the irrelevant person names entered in the computer citta and patta vide patta No.1311 comprising in S.No.73/1A measuring 0.76 cents situated at Ariyur Village, Vellore Taluk, Vellore District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2024.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to delete the names of the third parties entered in the computer chitta and patta in the property situated in S.No.73/1A measuring 0.76 cents, Ariyur Village, Vellore Taluk, Vellore District, by considering his representation dated 27.05.2024.
2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that the above mentioned property was purchased by the petitioner's mother Menagammal under registered sale deed dated 17.01.1975. However, in the on-line revenue records the names of the legal representatives of petitioner mother's vendor were found and therefore the petitioner submitted an instant representation dated 27.05.2024 seeking deletion of their names in the revenue records and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 2/5

Mr. A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, on written instructions from the third respondent vide his proceedings No.Na.Ka.B1/3363/2024 dated 24.10.2024, submits that the petitioner's mother purchased only 36 cents of land in survey number 73/1A and some other third parties are claiming right over the rest of the properties in the said survey numbers and they submitted objection against decision of their names. The learned Special Government Pleader further submits that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.05.2024 and pass final orders, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties/objectors, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
