The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 3(1), 4(2), (c) and 5(1) (a) of ITP Act and 351(3) of BNS, 2023, in Crime No.120 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. This petition is for anticipatory bail for the alleged offence under Sections 3(1), 4(2), (c) and 5(1) (a) of ITP Act and 351(3) of BNS, 2023, in Crime No.120 of 2025. Five Accused are involved in the offence of prostitution of which, this petitioner was absconding and now before this Court seeking anticipatory bail. Based on the confession statement of the co-accused who were apprehended, this petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case.
3. From the statement recorded, it appears that this petitioner along with one Saravanan had taken a premises for rent and using the premises, ran an illegal brothel center by engaging innocent girls, who came for a decent job. 2/4
4. Considering the nature of the crime and abscondence of the petitioner herein, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.
