O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent not to harass the petitioners in connection with the civil dispute.

2. Heard the learned counsels for the petitioners and the fourth respondent and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that on the complaint given by the fourth respondent for money dispute in connection with the business transaction between the petitioners and the fourth respondent, the petitioners are being called for enquiry by the third respondent police; the third respondent police is harassing the petitioners for an issue which is civil in nature; hence the petitioners are before this Court.

4. The learned counsel for the fourth respondent submitted that he has given a complaint with regard to the pending dues in the business transaction with the petitioners and the threat caused to him. 2/4

5. However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the complaint given by the fourth respondent, current paper enquiry has been initiated in C.No.221/ACP/CCB/SLM City/2021 and the same is pending.

6. Under such circumstances, the third respondent police is directed to conduct an enquiry and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
