This Contempt Petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 09.02.2023 made in W.P.No.3804 of 2023. 1 / 4

2. By the said order, this Court directed the writ petitioner to give reply along with necessary documents to the District Registrar pursuant to the impugned summons dated 19.01.2023 within a time frame. Further direction was given that on receipt of such reply and documents, after giving an opportunity to both the writ petitioner as well as the third respondent in the writ petition, who is the present petitioner in this contempt petition one Natesan, orders shall be passed on merits and in accordance with law within the meaning of Section 77A of the Act within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

3.The said order, according to the petitioner, has not been complied with. Therefore, the present contempt petition has been moved.

4. However, today when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.Murali, learned Government Advocate has submitted that the orders of this Court has been complied with. In support of his contention, he has produced a copy of the order passed by the District Registrar (Administration), Chengalpattu dated 15.11.2023. I have perused the said order, whereby the complaint submitted by the present petitioner Natesan having been considered, was rejected with a direction to both the parties to approach the Civil Court to decide 2 / 4

the title issue.

5. Since the orders passed by this Court have been complied with and orders have been passed by the District Registrar (Administration), Chengalpattu on 15.11.2023, no further persuasive action is necessary in this contempt petition.
