O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Crime No.16 of 2016 from the file of 2nd respondent to some other investigating agency.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the entire investigation has been completed and they are about to file a final report.

3. It is seen that the transfer petition is of the year 2017 and at this stage, the transfer of investigation would not serve any purpose. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the 2nd respondent is directed to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.16 of 2016 before the concerned Magistrate within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and the 1st respondent is directed to monitor the investigation done by the 2nd respondent and also to ensure that the 2nd respondent has obeyed the order passed by this Court.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
