This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent from continuing any work in the petitioner's land at S.No.260/7 patta 7 A Vedaranyam Road, Pratapaaramapuram, Velankanni Post, Pin 611 111, Nagapattinam District without acquisition of the lands belonging to the petitioner in respect of the scheme framed by the respondents for the development of the village rural roads in the existing original road.

2. Heard Mr.Sachudhanandan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2. There is no representation on behalf of the third respondent. Page No:2/4

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
