PRAYER: This Criminal Revision Petition filed under Section 397 r/w 401 Cr.P.C. seeking to set aside the order made in Cr.M.P.No.3002 of 2016 dated 09.05.2017 in C.C.No.238 of 2012 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-I, Mayiladuthurai and dismiss the complaint.

ORDER

This criminal revision has been filed seeking to set aside the order made in Cr.M.P.No.3002 of 2016 dated 09.05.2017 in C.C.No.238 of 2012 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-I, Mayiladuthurai and dismiss the complaint.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this petition with a liberty to file Criminal Original Petition for quashing the proceedings for want of sanction under Sec.197 of Cr.P.C.

3. Considering the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, permission is granted to withdraw the petition. It is always open to the petitioner to take appropriate legal recourse, by way of filing Criminal Original Petition, if he is aggrieved.

In the result the present Criminal Revision Case is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
