By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioners herein seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to consider their representation dated 28.07.2023 seeking deletion of the word 'Samathi' in revenue records pertains to land in S.No.42, Block No.8, Ward X, Seelanacikepatty Village, Salem Town.

3. It is the case of the petitioners that the above mentioned property is vacant site and the same was purchased by the petitioners in the year 2006. However, in the Town Survey Land Records (TSLR), there is an entry in the remarks column as if, there is a 'Samathi' in the property. Therefore, the petitioners submitted a representation on 28.07.2023 before the 1st respondent seeking deletion of entry in the Town Survey Land Records (TSLR) and the same has not been considered by the 1st respondent till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 28.07.2023 will be considered by the 1st respondent on its own merits and in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.07.2023 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
