Heard Ms. Jayasudha Surya Narayanan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. P.Ananda Kumar, Learned Government Advocate appearing for the First Respondent and Mr. Haja Mohideen Gisthi and Mr. K.M.H.Afzal, Learned Counsel for the Second Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Second Respondent to consider the representation dated 13.10.2022 made by the Petitioner to provide an opportunity of being heard as a party interested in the Wakf under Section 3(k) of the Waqf Act, 1995, in the pending enquiry notice in R.C. No. 560/14/B9/Chennai dated 07.10.2022.

It is represented by Learned Counsel appearing for the parties that during the enquiry conducted on 10.11.2022 (today), the Petitioner has participated in the enquiry before the Second Respondent and Learned Counsel for the Petitioner has made endorsement to that effect in the court record. As nothing remains for further consideration, the Writ Petition is disposed. No costs.
