This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the second respondent to include Section 3(1) TNPPDL Act 1984, a case in Crime No.354 of 2017 on the file of the respondent and investigate the matter in accordance with law.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions submitted that the prayer as sought for by the petitioner has been complied by filing an alteration report before the Judicial Magistrate, Kallakurichi by adding the offence under Section 3 (1) of PPDL Act.
