ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to issue a fresh patta for the petitioners lands measuring 4715 square feet (438.30 Sq. meters), comprised in Survey No.23/5, purchased by them by a Deed of Sale dated 29.06.2012, registered as Doc.No.3250 of 2012 at the SRO, Pallikonda, by enquiring into the matter and by considering petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2025.
2. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners have purchased 6 plots, measuring 4715 sq.ft., (438.03 sq.mts), comprised in Survey No.23/5 at Brahamanamangalam Village, Vellore Taluk, which was registered as Doc.No.3250 of 2012 at the SRO, Pallikonda. The petitioners have also obtained patta No.949 for the lands measuring 0.2.60 hectares, comprised in sub-divided survey No.23/59 and lands measuring 0.0.85 hectares, comprised in sub-divided survey No.23/60. This being so, the fourth respondent herein also purchased plot No.23 measuring 1000 sq.ft., (92.90 sq.mts), comprised in Survey No.23/5, in the same Village, which was registered as Doc.No.5822/2015 and he has also obtained patta No.528 for the lands measuring 0.0.93 hectares, comprised in sub-divided Survey No.23/20.
3.1. Pursuant thereto, when the petitioners go through the patta No.949, they found that out of 4715 sq.ft., the patta covers only 3700 sq.ft., and there was a shortage of 1015 sq.ft., which was wrongly issued to the fourth respondent by patta No.528. Therefore, the petitioners made a representation dated 09.06.2025 before the respondents 1 & 3, seeking fresh patta for their lands comprised in Survey No.23/5 3/6
measuring 4715 sq.ft. However, the said representation was not considered, as on date. Hence, the petitioners have come forward with the present writ petition.
4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 09.06.2025.
5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the petitioners' representation dated 09.06.2025 would be considered and orders passed within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
7. Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, 4/6
directs the third respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 09.06.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as the fourth respondent and aggrieved persons if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
