PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to directing the 2nd respondent to provide police protection to the spiritual lecture of "Sree Guru sivachandran's Arulisai Valipadu Sorpozhivu" schedule on 01.12.2019 from 10.00 P.M to 01.00 A.M at "Sree man Ayya Narayanasaamy Vaikundar Tirupathi temple", Kizhakku Vanniyar Street, K.K.Nagar, Virugampakkam, Chennai pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 02.10.2019.

The limited prayer sought for in the present petition is to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.10.2019, wherein he had sought for police protection for conducting spiritual lecture of "Sree Guru Sivachandran's Arulisai Valipadu Sorpozhivu" on 01.12.2019 from 10.00 P.M to 01.00 A.M at "Sree man Ayya Narayanasaamy Vaikundar Tirupathi temple", Kizhakku Vanniyar Street, K.K.Nagar, Virugampakkam, Chennai.

2. In view of the limited prayer sought for and without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent herein to consider the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner's representation, within a period of 1 week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case, the respondent police are of the view that police protection could be extended, it is open to them to impose reasonable restrictions to regulate the conduct of lecture.
